ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Vehicle Service Technician (VST) is primarily responsible for maintaining Advantage's fleet, ambulance equipment, EMS inventory, and EMS supplies. The VST will also be responsible for maintaining company grounds, deployment centers, and stations. This is to support fleet efficiency and crew productivity.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- CA Driver License
- Acceptable Driving Record with valid Driver History Report (DMV printout or online version obtained within the last 30 days)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- CA Ambulance Driver Certificate
- 6 months + experience in fleet/vehicle maintenance
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure units are properly stocked
- Ensure units are road-worthy
- Restock units as supplies are used
- Maintain daily inspection checklists
- Process and monitor vehicle, equipment, and station repair requests
- Timely report unit issues
- Transport company vehicles to and from service centers and outlying stations
- Monitor EMS inventory and track re-orders

- Standing, walking and squatting less than fifty percent of the work shift.
- Required to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation and reports.

Compensation: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
